What is the cycle to work scheme and how does it work?
The Cycle to Work Scheme is a very popular way of buying a new bike (or equipment). The way the scheme works is your employer buys the bike and equipment, then leases it to you through an interest-free salary sacrifice scheme. In short, this means you’ll pay less for your bike and you will be able to pay in instalments.
What schemes are available?
Quella accepts Cycle To Work vouchers from all these providers:
NHS Bikes (aka “Vivup”)

And unlike other schemes, there is no 7% end-of-scheme charge if you want to buy the bike for yourself. You can pay from your salary over any period you and your employer agree. Common terms are 12, 18, and 24 months. This reduces the amount of tax you have to pay so you can make significant savings on your bike.
